Things to do in Sydney
Sydney has many things to offer whether you are a vintage shopping & cozy café vibes kinda person or a sightseeing fanatic. We have gathered some of our favorites down below:
The Opera House: A trip to Sydney is not complete without visiting the Sydney Opera House, designed by the Danish architect Jørn Utzon.
Sydney Harbour Bridge: Discover the impressive Sydney Harbour Bridge, which offers stunning views of the harbour. But you know what's even cooler? You can actually "climb" the bridge! A BridgeClimb is an adrenaline-filled experience where you climb the bridge and get an absolutely insane panoramic view of the city. Talk about adrenaline!
Shopping: The city's charming neighborhoods such as The Rocks and Darling Harbour offer plenty of cosy cafés and shops. On George Street, one of the oldest streets in the city center, you will find both historic buildings and vintage shops. If you're looking to upgrade your surf gear or just find new, cool clothes, then Oxford Street and Pitt Street are the places to hang out. Here you will find everything from large retail chains to small, unique boutiques.
Ferry to Manly: When in Sydney, you have to take the ferry to Manly! Here you will not only discover a super laid back and cool part of Sydney, but you will also get an amazing view of Sydney Harbour and the famous Sydney Opera House.
Darling Harbour Bridge: It's Sydney's bustling water hotspot with sick sights and plenty of places to chill.
Royal National Park: A relaxed atmosphere, beautiful hiking trails, and the opportunity to jump into the waves await you on one of the beautiful beaches scattered along the coast.
Coastal walk: Discover the famous Bondi Beach to Coogee Coastal Walk – a scenic route along the coast that offers stunning views of the roaring sea.
Nightlife: Go to Oxford Street and King's Cross - the latter is also where you'll find a lot of cheap hostels, restaurants and bars.

Coast of Sydney
An overflow of great beaches
If there's one thing Sydney is known for, besides the Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge, it's the beaches! And we're not just talking about one or two. Sydney has around 70 beaches that are absolutely incredible for both sun and surfing.
🏖️Bondi Beach: is of course a must. It's kind of the most iconic beach in Sydney and it's only 20 minutes from central Sydney. Bondi Beach is an experience in itself – a mix of big waves, a lively promenade and a crazy cool atmosphere. Bondi also has an iconic sea pool, the Bondi Icebergs Club, which is worth a visit for a swim or just to check out the stunning views.
🏄Manly beach: A short boat ride from Sydney Harbour is Manly Beach, which is seriously competing for the title of "most popular beach in Sydney". Manly's waves and the long boulevard with lots of cozy cafes and restaurants is really a place you don't want to miss when you're in New South Wales. If Bondi is the party, Manly is perhaps more the laid-back lounge.
And if you want to explore the lesser-known ones, here are a few more awesome beaches in Sydney that are perfect for surfing and sunbathing:
Cronulla Beach
Curl Curl Beach
Freshwater Beach
Long Reef Beach
North Narrabeen Beach
Palm Beach

Below you will find the answer to some of the most asked questions from our customers.
Sydney has a mild and sunny climate all year round, with hot summers and mild winters, thus perfect for both beach life and city adventures.
☀️ Summer (December – February): Warm and sunny with temperatures around 25–30°C. Perfect beach weather, but also the busiest tourist season.
🍂 Autumn (March – May): Still warm and pleasant with fewer tourists. The temperature is typically between 18–25°C.
❄️ Winter (June – August): Mild winter with temperatures around 10–18°C. Rarely frost, but a little more rain and wind.
🌸 Spring (September – November): Sunny and warm without the intense summer heat – ideal for outdoor activities and sightseeing.
Sydney is a great city to explore more of New South Wales. Here are some tips on day trips that will take your Sydney adventure to the next level:
🍷Hunter Valley: Interested in wine? Then you have to go to the Hunter Valley, one of Australia's oldest wine regions. Here you can visit vineyards, taste local wines and enjoy the beautiful countryside. Many tours also include cheese and chocolate tasting – how nice?!
🐬Port Stephens: If you're keen on seeing dolphins in the wild, head to Port Stephens! It's a beautiful coastal town with stunning beaches, dunes (perfect for sandboarding!) and plenty of water sports.
⛺Royal National Park (again, but for camping!): If you have time and want a real nature experience, you can actually camp in the Royal National Park. It's a perfect way to really relax and enjoy the Australian wilderness. Think starry nights and wild animals as background music!
🐋Jervis Bay: Known for its chalk-white beaches and crystal clear waters. Jervis Bay is a paradise for those who love to swim, snorkel and see marine life, including dolphins and whales during the season. Hyams Beach is said to have the world's whitest sand!
🏔️Blue Mountains: If you love nature, you should take a day trip to the Blue Mountains - here you can take a great view of the iconic Three Sisters cliffs, hike through eucalyptus forests and maybe even spot a kangaroo!
Transportation in Sydney is easy and efficient which makes it easy to experience the city, both as a local and a traveler. You can hop on a train, bus or ferry with one and the same travel card: the Opal Card, which works all over the city and the surrounding area.
The train network covers both the city centre and the suburbs, while buses and trams offer good connections to beaches, sights and local neighborhoods.
The ferries are especially popular, not just as transport, but as an experience in themselves, with views of the Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge from the water.
Additionally, if you like being active, Sydney is a beautiful city to either walk or bike around in. There are lots of paths to take.
