Your Queensland adventure comes to a close
Week 1: Cairns and around
You arrive in Cairns with your first 3 nights pre-booked in a true backpacker hostel. If you're traveling solo this place is perfect for finding new friends as it's probably the hostel in Cairns with the best youth backpacker vibe. After settling here for a few days it's time to visit the more lush part of North Queensland on a 2-day trip to Cape Tribulation. Once you're back it's time for diving as we have included a PADI learn to dive course. When you're ready to head down the coast you active the 15 day bus pass and start moving towards Brisbane.
