BALI

Sunset in Bali

Beach, waterfalls & surf

Bali is one of Indonesia’s most captivating islands, where Hindu culture remains at the heart of daily life. From dramatic volcanoes and lush rice terraces to stunning beaches and world-class diving, the island offers something for every traveler.

Surf in Kuta and Seminyak, relax on quiet white-sand beaches, explore the crystal-clear waters around Nusa Lembongan, or immerse yourself in local life through charming villages, yoga, and Bali’s warm, vibrant culture.

To experience the island’s diversity, we recommend spending at least a couple of weeks exploring different regions of Bali. It’s a destination that leaves a lasting impression.

Most popular spots for your Bali trip

Denpasar

Denpasar is where you land, but we do not recommend staying in Denpasar or Kuta for long. We have better tips for exploring Bali!

Ubud

Bali's green oasis, which is just as beautiful as you've heard it is! Visit the Monkey Forest, do yoga for a couple of days if that's your thing, check out the rice fields in Tegalalang and swim in waterfalls like Kanto Lampo in the Ubud jungle.

Uluwatu

Uluwatu is a hub for backpackers and digital nomads. Here you can chill on the beach and at trendy cafes. Don't miss Dreamland Beach! Furthermore, you can enjoy good surfing at the cliffs of Uluwatu.

Amed

Amed is without a doubt the best place to dive and snorkel in Bali. An underrated gem that many miss. Fit 2-3 days here during your trip and you will thank us.

Canggu

Canggu has a great vibe, awesome waves, acai bowls, and lots of restaurants and beach clubs to hang out in. If you are interested in learning to surf, we offer great surf camps with good vibes in Canggu. Also, a great place to start or end your trip as it is close to the airport in Denpasar.

Kuta

Kuta, and especially Kuta Beach, is very touristy and can be hectic. If you enjoy a vibrant nightlife, Kuta might be for you, but there are more authentic experiences on Bali!

Seminyak

Seminyak is known for its luxury resorts, trendy shops, and exclusive restaurants. Perfect for those who want a more luxurious experience during their stay in Bali. There are also fantastic beach clubs!

We can help you put together a trip with accommodation, activities and of course international flights, so that you not only experience Bali but the islands surrounding Bali. There you will find paradise beaches with turquoise waters, turtles to snorkel with and beaches to relax on.

Gili Islands

The Gili Islands are a diving paradise. The island group belongs to Lombok, but is definitely worth including in your Bali trip. Beautiful beaches, crystal-clear water, and a great nightlife. The Gili Islands are three different islands, Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno, and Gili Air. Each of them has its own charm, pick the one the fits your vibe the best.

Nusa Lembongan

This small island is closer to Bali and offers relaxing vibes and great surfing opportunities. We can help you book a surf camp or a shorter surfing experience.

Lombok

Lombok is a pristine Indonesian island just east of Bali, famous for its dramatic volcanic peaks, world-class surf, and white-sand beaches.

Frequently asked questions

Planning a trip to Bali? Find answers to the most common questions from our travel experts.

The dry season

June to September is the best time to visit Bali, especially for exploring beaches and jungle trekking. The weather is sunny and there is the least chance of rain. Perfect for a summer vacation!

The rainy season

Between October and April there can be more rain, but this period also offers more lush landscapes and fewer tourists. Perfect for those looking for a quieter experience.

It is usually cheaper to travel to Bali during the rainy season, which is the low season on the island. During this time, hotel and hostel prices are lower and we can often find affordable flight tickets. Despite rainy days, you can still enjoy the sun and swimming as the rain often comes in short bursts.

Bali may not be known for its transportation system. A drive that Google Maps says will take 1 hour can easily take 3 due to all the traffic and sometimes bad roads. So, it is good to take that into account.

Rent a scooter

You can rent a scooter in Bali but be careful in the traffic.

Private drivers

We can help you book local drivers in advance for convenient transportation to different parts of the island.

Bali is packed with incredible experiences. Learn to surf, explore colourful coral reefs, join a yoga class, chase waterfalls, and discover the island's unique culture.
