Week 1: Kickstart your adventure in Delhi & Jaipur
Your journey begins in Delhi, India's ultra-busy and vibrant capital. Although it may feel overwhelming at first, it is an incredibly fun city to explore. Check out the India Gate, the Lotus Temple, or the bustling streets of the Chandni Chowk neighborhood. The Karol Bagh market is a must-visit if you need to pick up any forgotten items or bargains. Make sure to sample the incredible local street food, especially a delicious masala dosa. The next days, your camera will get plenty of use in Jaipur, one of India's most picturesque destinations filled with stunning temples, mosques, alleys, and viewpoints. While the Palace of the Winds is popular, its impressive architecture makes it well worth your time. You can also take a guided tour of the massive sandstone Amber Fort, which blends seamlessly into the surrounding hills. Wrap up your evenings by exploring local markets or hanging out at a downtown bar with your travel companions.
