Early Morning Departure: The Adventure Begins (4:00 am - 4:20 am)

Off to Llaqto: Gateway to the Peaks (approx. 7:00 am - 10:00 am)

Trek to Rainbow Mountain: Nature’s Masterpiece (10:00 am - noon)

Descending and Refueling: Lunch in Llaqto

Return to Cusco: Journey’s End (approx. 6:30 pm)

Arrive at any time. Arrive early and spend some time exploring the city. Meet the group at the welcome meeting, check for the start time on the welcome note at the hotel.

Enjoy a full-day guided tour of the Sacred Valley. Stop at the women's weaving co-op before visiting a local pottery making community. Break for lunch at the Parwa Community Restaurant in Huchuy Qosco. After lunch, opt to head out on a hike to the Ollantaytambo storehouses and look out over the ruins. Or, wander around the cobblestone streets and visit a local Chicheria (corn beer bar).

Depart Ollantaytambo by van to km 82 where the Inca Trail begins. Ease into the adventure with a straightforward day of hiking the meandering streams, stunning Andean scenery, and ancient Incan ruins. Trek through beautiful scenery, with a variety of flora that changes with the seasons, passing several smaller ruin sites like Llactapata.

Start early to climb the long steep path to Warmiwañusca, better known as Dead Woman’s Pass. This is the highest point of the trek at 4,198m (13,769 ft). Most hikers reach camp by early afternoon, with ample time to rest and relax.

Cross two more passes and ruins on today's trek. The first pass is Runquraqay at 3,950m (13,113 ft) where, on a clear day, hikers can catch a glimpse of the snow-capped Cordillera Vilcabamba. Hike through the cloud forest on a gentle climb to the second pass of the day, walking through original Incan constructions. The highest point of the pass is 3,700m (12,136 ft). On a clear day, enjoy the spectacular views of the Urubamba Valley. At 3,650m (11,972 ft), reach the ruins of Phuyupatamarca, the "town above the clouds." Camp here or go another 1.5 hrs to the Wiñay Wayna ruins ("forever young") located at 2,650m (8,694 ft).

The final day of the hike starts pre-dawn to reach the Sun Gate before sunrise. Catch the first views of the breathtaking ruins of Machu Picchu on a clear day. Hike down for a guided tour of the ruins, before your train back towards Cusco.

Your Inca Trail adventure comes to an end! You can leave the group any time you like. We recommend chilling as much as you can before your next adventure kicks off tomorrow. 

Wake up very early in the morning as you leave Cuzco between 5:30-6:00am on an uphill journey to the high mountain area of Paucartambo on a relaxing bus ride. Visit the pre-Inca burial towers known as the Chullpas of Ninamarca on the way. Enjoy the sight of exquisite orchids, exotic heliconias, and primitive ferns while descending through the mystical cloud forest. Stop to witness the mingling of cartoonish Andean cock-of-the-rocks, the national bird of Peru. You might also catch a glimpse of several other bird species such as trogons & Amazonian umbrellabirds, or be lucky enough to catch a view of the spectacled bear, the only endangered bear in South America. You will then arrive at the village of Pilcopata, where you will check-into your accommodation and overnight.

After an early breakfast you will leave for a bus trip. After about 45 minutes you will reach Atalaya. From there you will take a 30-min boat ride to the jungle. Get settled into your accommodation and take a group walk to discover various species of birds, insects, and other animals. Overnight at Paititi Lodge.

Wake up early and leave on a boat ride for about 30min to the parrot clay lick, an area where dozens of polychrome parrots gather to feed by licking clay deposits. Discover colourful species of parrots, macaws, and animals such as frogs, turtles and the brown capuchin monkey. Then, explore the tracks along the Machu Huasi Lake and observe the South American caimans and capybaras, the world’s largest rodent species. Interact with nature and observe the wild orchids, exotic bromelia, ferns, and other flora of the region before you return to your accommodation for the night.

After an early breakfast you will take a boat journey down the Alto Madre de Dios River to the hot springs of Aguas Calientes. Enjoy the scenic views and spot wildlife on the banks along the way. Your first stop will be at the native community of Shintuya, where you can walk around and learn about the culture of the area. Continue your journey by boat and arrive at Aguas Calientes hot springs. Take a dip and relax in the hot springs before returning back to the lodge in the afternoon. Later, enjoy a night walk.

After breakfast, you will head back on a 30-min boat ride up to the port of Atalaya as you absorb the last sights and sounds of the tropical rainforest and then transfer back to Cuzco.

Your adventure begins bright and early with a pick-up from your hotel, followed by a scenic drive to Puno's port to board your boat across Lake Titicaca. Step onto the astonishing Uros floating islands, crafted entirely from reeds! Get an insider's glimpse into the daily lives of the Uros people, hear legends of their origins, and enjoy free time for photos and exploration. Cruise further across the lake to Taquile Island, home to Peru's renowned master weavers. Embark on a gentle uphill hike through breathtaking landscapes, making stops to meet local families and learn the secrets behind Taquile’s UNESCO-listed textiles. Pause in the lively town square to browse vibrant handicraft shops at nearly 4,000 meters above sea level. Sail on to the tranquil shores of Luquina, arriving after about 35 minutes. Meet your friendly host family and settle into their welcoming home. As dusk falls, dig into a locally prepared dinner, share stories, and soak up a peaceful lakeside night—an authentic immersion into local culture.

Wake up to the golden light over Lake Titicaca and enjoy a warm, homemade breakfast with your host family—perfect fuel for a hands-on morning ahead. Step into the rhythm of rural life! Try your hand at sheep grazing on scenic hillsides, help tend to local crops, or learn the art of milking a cow. This is your chance to connect with traditions passed down for generations and truly become a part of the Luquina community. Savor a delicious, home-cooked lunch as you share stories and laughter with your hosts. Absorb the last moments of genuine hospitality and Andean flavors before parting ways. Afternoon, Tour Ends with memories made and hearts full, board your boat for a final scenic ride across Lake Titicaca, returning to Puno as your cultural adventure concludes.

After all the adventures you've had so far, take a couple of evenings in La Paz to recover before kicking off your Uyuni Salt Flats & Desert Adventure. 

Get ready for a journey that blends comfort with anticipation! Board your overnight bus in La Paz and settle into your seat as the city lights fade behind you. Enjoy reclining seats and cozy blankets as you drift off to the gentle rhythm of the road. Let the long miles melt away while you rest up for the adventures ahead. The bus is equipped for overnight travel, ensuring a restful journey. As dawn breaks, you’ll arrive in Uyuni, feeling refreshed and eager. Step off the bus and breathe in the crisp highland air—your gateway to the surreal, spectacular salt flats awaits!

Arrive in Uyuni at dawn and begin your adventure at the Train Cemetery, where abandoned steam locomotives create a striking backdrop for photos. Continue to Colchani Village to learn about traditional salt extraction and its importance to local communities, while browsing handcrafted salt souvenirs made by local artisans.

Explore the vast salt flats, passing impressive salt mounds and the unique Ojos de Sal, natural bubbling pools scattered across the white expanse. Then visit Isla Incahuasi, a cactus-covered island rising from the salt plains, where giant cacti and stunning panoramic views highlight the surreal landscape.

As evening falls, head to the remarkable Hotel de Sal, built entirely from salt bricks. Enjoy this one-of-a-kind accommodation, relax in your salt-built room, and share dinner with fellow travelers while reflecting on the day’s unforgettable experiences and looking forward to the adventures ahead.

Start the day with breakfast at Hotel de Sal before travelling toward the impressive Volcán Ollague, an active volcano offering spectacular Andean scenery. Continue to the beautiful lagoons of Cañapa, Hedionda, and Honda, where thousands of flamingos gather amid stunning landscapes and reflective waters.

Journey through the remote Siloli Desert, known for its vast open spaces and unique wind-sculpted rock formations. Enjoy lunch surrounded by the desert’s dramatic natural beauty before visiting the famous Árbol de Piedra, a remarkable rock formation shaped like a stone tree.

The day concludes at the breathtaking Laguna Colorada, where red-hued waters, white mineral deposits, and pink flamingos create one of Bolivia’s most iconic landscapes. In the evening, arrive at the Laguna Colorada hostel, enjoy dinner, and relax after a day filled with unforgettable wildlife and desert scenery.

Begin the day before sunrise with a visit to the Sol de Mañana geysers, where steaming vents and bubbling mud pools create a dramatic volcanic landscape. Afterwards, relax in the natural Aguas Termales hot springs and enjoy breakfast surrounded by stunning Andean scenery.

Continue to the surreal Rocas de Dalí, a collection of unusual rock formations reminiscent of a Salvador Dalí painting, before visiting the striking Laguna Verde and Laguna Blanca. Their vivid colors, set against the majestic Licancabur Volcano, provide some of the region’s most spectacular views.

Explore the remarkable Valle de Rocas, where wind and time have sculpted extraordinary rock formations over thousands of years. The journey then passes through the traditional villages of Culplina and San Cristóbal, offering a glimpse into local high-Andean life.

Return to Uyuni in the evening. Later, enjoy a peaceful overnight bus journey across the Altiplano beneath a sky filled with stars, reflecting on the unforgettable landscapes, wildlife, and experiences of the trip.

Wake up as the city of La Paz comes into view, famous for its dramatic mountains and bustling energy before making your own way to Rio De Janerio.

Spend two nights in Ipanema, one of Rio de Janeiro's most iconic neighbourhoods and the perfect base for your Brazilian adventure. Soak up the laid-back beach lifestyle, stroll along the famous Ipanema beachfront and discover the cafés, bars and local culture that make this part of the city so special. Whether you're watching the sunset from Arpoador Rock, enjoying Rio's vibrant nightlife or simply relaxing by the ocean, your time here is all about embracing the energy and beauty of Brazil before heading on to the tropical paradise of Ilha Grande.

Land transfer will pick you up from your hostel and take you to Conceição de Jacareí, where you will take a 1-hour boat ride to Ilha Grande.

Explore the Island's coast on a boat trip. The boat stops at 2 different beaches with crystal clear waters and white sand. Snorkelling is optional!

Free day at the Island to chill be the beach, do some hiking to beautiful natural spots or just enjoy the sun!

Transfer back to Rio de Janeiro. Time and drop-off to be scheduled. From here, you can fly home with memories to last a lifetime.
